Mara Mandernach

Hello! My name is Mara Mandernach and I’m a web developer. Through DMACC, I will earn the diploma in Web Development in the fall of 2023, after completing the certificate in Website Development in the spring of 2022. I am seeking employment in the Des Moines metro area. I like web development and find that my favorite thing to do is work on both the front end and back end of a website. I enjoyed learning about WordPress and Elementor, as well as using Adobe XD from my Web Design classes. I believe there is a lot more I could learn and would never limit my options for more education. It has been amazing to learn so much at DMACC about the web dev field and how much it has evolved since I took courses on this in high school. For example, I learned more about SASS and how valuable it is. Moreover, I really appreciated the fact that my professor told me that most businesses will value honesty  and  a desire to learn more about the field. Therefore, I know that I am not afraid to tell you that I am not yet an expert in web development but I will share what I know so far and I am willing to learn and become a fantastic web developer for your company!
