I am a former youth counselor changing my perspective in psychology by focusing on user interactions and graphic communications. I’m interested in User Experience Design, which allows me to blend my unique understanding of human nature with my eye for design and creative problem-solving.
My design philosophy centers around imagining the possibilities, allowing myself to enjoy the messiness of the design process, and to be innovative in seeking ways to make the world a little more well-designed.
This summer, I have a UX design internship at Casey’s. In August, I will be seeking a full-time position in Ames or the Des Moines Metro Area. I’m looking to work for a company or agency where my coworkers will feel like family and are always supportive and encouraging.
